8 Zenithar – Faulted in its action in the back straight and took no further part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside hind back muscle injury the greyhound has been stood down for 28 days and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

1 Spring Betty – Checked rounding the first turn. Trainer Felicia Guymer was fined $100 under GAR 99 – No catcher.

4 Spring Maple – Checked rounding the first turn.

5 Gypsy Road – Checked soon after the start, raced wide rounding the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

6 Swift Zach – Bumped with another runner on several occasions rounding the first turn, checked entering the back straight.

9 Totally Focused (4) – Eased and turned its head on several occasions in the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Steward’s spoke to trainer Kevin Forrester regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After viewing the video replay and considered submissions from the trainer and the veterinary report, Stewards invoked GAR 124 Fail to Pursue 3rd offence – 3 months stand down and must complete two satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.
