Steward’s spoke to trainer Nathan Evans regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After viewing the video replay and considered submissions from the trainer and the veterinary report, Stewards invoked GAR 124 Fail to Pursue 1st offence - 28 day stand down at Ipswich and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

7 Velocity Carly – Severely checked entering the home turn and took no further part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

2 Stolen Moment – Slow to begin, trailed the field throughout. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside hind leg injury the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.
