Race 1 - TAB VENUE MODE MAIDEN HEAT 1 MAIDEN 288m

2 Farmor Frisky – Slow to begin. Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.

6 Magic Madness – Slow to begin.

7 Amartey Party – Bumped by another runner shortly after the start. Raced wide for most of the event. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed an injury to the offside pin-muscle and was stood down from racing for 10 days.

8 Heaven Scent – Clipped on the heels by another runner rounding the first turn and became momentarily unbalanced.

Race 2 - SKY RACING MAIDEN HEAT 2 MAIDEN 288m

1 Balmain Juror – Clipped on the heels by another runner approaching the finishing line.

2 Flying Yumi – Slow to begin. Clipped the heels of another runner and fell after the race had concluded. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities.

4 Blue Eye Mac – Tightened for racing room on the finishing line and contacted the running rail. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities.

5 Style Council – Raced wide rounding the home turn.

1 Simmering – Marginally slow to begin.

4 Mia Grace – Stumbled leaving the starting matt and lost ground shortly afterwards.

6 My Shrek – Slow to begin.

7 Girl's Night Out – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground. Bumped with another runner rounding the home turn.

8 Wally's Boy – Bumped with another runner and forced to race wide rounding the home turn.

Race 4 - DOVER & SONS NOVICE (1) 288m

1 Tiger Knight – Improved onto the heels of another runner in the home straight.

2 Elarbee Mendes – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.

3 Hot August Night – Tightened for racing room approaching the first turn and contacted the running rail. Checked off the heels of another runner leaving the first turn. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities.

5 Magic Simon – Tightened for racing room rounding the first turn and fell taking no further competitive part in the race. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities.

7 Cuckoo Coconuts – Checked off the fallen runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.

8 Go Katie Go – Dragged down by another runner in the home straight and was severely checked. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 5 - GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS NOVICE (2) 288m

1 Mandela – Raced wide rounding the home turn. Bumped with another runner at the top of the home straight.

2 He's Blazing – Slow to begin.

3 Street Scandal – Checked off the heels of another runner shortly after the start.

7 Cockney Sparrow – Bumped with another runner at the top of the home straight.

6 Wild Fernando – Very slow to begin.

7 Dixie Zambora – Bumped by another runner and forced to race wide rounding the first turn. Raced wide rounding the home turn.

8 Break And Enter – Slow to begin.

Race 7 - IPSWICH LOCAL NEWS GRADE 4 (2) 288m

2 Fernando Holly – Visibly eased approaching the first turn and turned back towards the starting boxes failing to complete the course. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards spoke to Mr Paul Graham regarding the racing manners of Fernando Holly. Mr Graham stated that the greyhound had received heavy interference and several collisions in the catching pen during recent runs and that may have contributed to her actions in today’s race. Stewards acting under the provisions of GAR124(1) charged Fernando Holly with Failing to Pursue (1^st offence) and will be stood down from racing at Ipswich for 28 days plus the completion of a satisfactory trial. Mr P Graham advised Stewards that he will retire Fernando Holly after today’s race.

5 Minnesota Nights – Checked off the heels of another runner approaching the first turn.

6 Modulating – Slow to begin.

7 Wild Eyes – Checked off the heels of another runner approaching the first turn.

Race 8 - M & K BUTCHERS BEST 8 288m

1 Empire Rolls On – Slow to begin. Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.

3 Alvey – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.

6 Farmor Millers – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.

8 Terry's Toil – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.

5 Wrong Girl – Clipped on the heels by another runner approaching the home turn and was checked.

8 Earn And Return – Fell in the catching pen after the race had concluded. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities.
