Race 1 - TAB VENUE MODE MAIDEN 431m

3 Canya Goddess – Severely checked and fell in the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to the near side shoulder and was subsequently stood down for 10 days. Stewards spoke to trainers representative Ms S Yeomans regarding the greyhounds’ actions in the home straight. After considering all available evidence and the circumstances of the greyhounds fall, Stewards took no further action.

4 Single Figures – Bumped after the start. Checked in the first turn.

5 Liberty Valance – Checked in the first turn.

6 Rubys And Pearls – Checked and became unbalanced in the first turn. Severely inconvenienced by another runner in the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to the near fore webbing and was subsequently stood down for 10 days.

9 Ebony Princess (2) – Checked in the first turn.

10 Magic Madness (8) – Severely inconvenienced in the first turn.

Race 2 - SKY RACING MAIDEN FINAL MAIDEN 431m

2 Tweed Rivah – Checked in the first turn.

6 Cuban Rhythm – Checked rounding the home turn. Bumped with another runner in the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury its nearside fore shin and was subsequently stood down for 14 days.

8 Hayley Shian – Checked in the first turn.

1 Top Shelf Toby – Slow to begin.

2 Kaypat World – Through the back turn was checked.

4 Shian Gizmo – Into the first turn checked off heels, through the back turn was tightened and checked.

5 Wild Oates – Bumped on jumping away, checked in the first turn, through the back turn was checked.

7 It's Time Lionel – Checked in the first turn.

8 Far More Women – Rounding the home turn checked across heels.

Race 4 - DOVER & SONS NOVICE (2) 431m

2 Aerobic Maximum – Through the 1^st turn was severely checked, into the back turn was checked.

3 Berta's Babe – Slow to begin.

4 Sid's Mate – Through the 1^st turn was severely checked falling as a result. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound sustained a strained neck and was stood down from racing for 7 days.

5 Spring Oak – Shortly after the start was checked, through the 1^st turn was severely.

6 Bit Of Mischief – Shortly after the start was checked.

7 Cost A Dime – Through the 1^st turn was inconvenienced.

Race 5 - GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS GRADE 4 431m

1 Drink Long Necks – Into the 1st turn was tightened.

2 Buck Or Two – Into the 1^st turn was tightened.

3 Tequila Worm – Raced wide for the majority of the event.

4 Little Bullet – Shortly after the start was tightened. Into the 1^st turn was tightened. Into the back turn was inconvenienced.

6 In The Spotlight – Into the 1^st turn was tightened and checked.

7 Shaquille – Into the first turn was inconvenienced. Approaching the back turn was checked.

Race 6 - AWAY IN A MANGER 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 GRADE 5 520m

4 Blue Queen – Approaching the 1^st turn was tightened, through the 1^st turn was checked.

6 Lenny Fox – Into the 1^st turn was checked.

7 Slick Suzie – Into the 1^st turn was severely checked and taken wider on the track.

8 Tiny Tank – Into the 1^st turn was severely checked.

Race 7 - CHRISTMAS LIGHTS 5TH GRADE HEAT 2 GRADE 5 520m

1 Spring Release – Into the 1^st turn was tightened.

5 Out Of Aussie – Approaching the 1^st turn was tightened.

7 Bella's Blessed – Into the 1^st turn improved onto heels.

8 Wild Mister – Into the 1^st turn was inconvenienced, took the home turn awkwardly. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

Race 8 - DECK THE HALLS 5TH GRADE HEAT 3 GRADE 5 520m

1 Battlefield – Slow to begin, through the 1^st turn was severely inconvenienced.

2 Orbital – Through the 1^st turn shifted out turning its head outwards taking its attention away from the lure. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainer Eric Raeburn regarding the greyhound’s actions at that stage of the event, after reviewing the video replay and the submissions from Mr Raeburn, stewards deemed Orbital had taken its attention away from the lure therefore invoked GAR 124 Failing to Pursue. As this was the greyhound’s 1st offence under this rule Orbital was suspended from racing at Ipswich for 28 days and until the completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial.

3 Live Stream – Through the 1^st turn was inconvenienced, leaving the 1^st turn was checked.

4 Major Blip – Into the 1^st turn was severely checked falling as a result. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

5 Flying Brockie – Slow to begin leaving the 1^st turn turned its head outwards taking its attention away from the lure shifting out bumping another runner. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainer John Judd regarding the greyhound’s actions at that stage of the event, after reviewing the video replay and the submissions from Mr Judd, stewards deemed Flying Brockie had taken its attention away from the lure and could be satisfied head or muzzle contact was not made therefore invoked GAR 124 Failing to Pursue. As this was the greyhound’s 1st offence under this rule Flying Brockie was suspended from racing at Ipswich for 28 days and until the completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial.

6 High Times – Into the 1^st turn was checked.

1 Wild Ritza – Into the 1^st turn was checked, rounding the home turn was taken wider on the track.

2 Flying Promise – Through the 1^st turn was tightened.

4 Black Patch – Slow to begin, through the 1^st turn was checked.

5 Buddy Will Rock – Through the 1^st turn was tightened.

6 Majestic Shot – Through the 1^st turn was tightened and severely checked falling as a result. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

7 Whispering Sadie – Through the 1^st turn was tightened

8 Boom Boom Harley – Into the back turn was checked.
