Race 1 - HAPPY NEW YEAR MAIDEN HEAT 1 MAIDEN 288m

3 Leaping - Checked off heels through the first turn and lost ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to the offside pin muscle and was stood down for a period of 7 days.

4 Token Pass - Slow to begin.

5 Aurora Damiro - Checked shortly after the start.

6 Cookie Queen - Checked shortly after the start.

7 Sweet Chana - Collided with another runner rounding the turn into the front straight and was checked.

8 Simmering - Raced wide and collided with another runner rounding the turn into the front straight and was checked.

Race 2 - TAB VENUE MODE MAIDEN HEAT 2 MAIDEN 288m

1 Ms. Complicit - Checked entering the first turn.

2 Top Shelf Tim - Inconvenienced by the fallen runner entering the first turn, eased and shifted its attention towards the runners racing to its outside whilst shifting wider on the track. Underwent a post–race veterinary examination which did not reveal any significant findings. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. Daniel Bloomfield regarding the greyhound's racing manners through the first turn. After hearing submissions from Mr. Bloomfield, viewing the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards charged Top Shelf Tim under GAR 124 Failing to pursue. Top Shelf Tim is stood down for 28 days at Ipswich and must complete a satisfactory Stewards trial.  

3 He's Half Ours- Severely checked and forced wider on the track entering the first turn, shortly after was checked again.

4 Princess Bride - Quick to begin. Severely checked and forced wider on the track entering the first turn, shortly after was checked again. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which did not reveal any significant findings.

5 Hard To Style - Severely checked entering the first turn causing the greyhound to fall and take no further competitive part in the event. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to the offside foreleg and was stood down for a period of 21 days.

6 King Brockie - Checked racing through first turn.

7 Lulu Bar Cool - Slow to begin. Checked entering the first turn.

8 Enlightened- Inconvenienced entering the first turn. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which did not reveal any significant findings.

Race 3 - SKY RACING MAIDEN HEAT 3 MAIDEN 288m

1 Noticed - Turned its head outwards towards the runner racing to its outside when entering the home straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which did not reveal any significant findings. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. Terry Guymer regarding the greyhound's racing manners entering the front straight. After hearing submissions from Mr. Guymer, viewing the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards charged Noticed under GAR 124 Failing to pursue. Noticed is stood down for 28 days at Ipswich and must complete a satisfactory Stewards trial.  

2 Munxar Queen - Quick to begin.

3 Galway Glitz - Slow to begin. Checked racing through first turn.

4 Keep On Running - Tightened for room entering the first turn and checked. Checked through first turn.

5 Balmain Juror - Inconvenienced through first turn.

6 Hot Barrels - Checked racing through first turn.

7 Belle Bar Cool - Checked racing through first turn.

8 Here He Comes- Raced wide throughout.

1 White Claw - Tightened for room entering the first turn and was severely checked

2 Magique Noir- Inconvenienced entering first turn.

3 Mandela - Quick to begin. Had its heels contacted racing through the first turn and raced wide from thereon out.

4 Grumpy Moose - Severely checked entering the first turn.

5 Here's Yours - Checked racing through first turn.

6 Devil's Sister- Checked entering first turn. Checked off heels entering front straight.

Race 5 - DOVER & SONS NOVICE (2) 288m

1 Class Of Twenty - Quick to begin.

2 Miss Terri- Had its heel contacted entering the first turn and was checked.

3 Elarbee Mendes - Checked entering the first turn.

4 Velocity Carly - Severely checked entering the first turn. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which did not reveal any significant findings.

5 All Vogue - Severely checked entering the first turn

Race 6 - GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS MA5 288m

4 Pound Down - Slow to begin. Checked entering the first turn.

7 Tuta Mimosa - Checked entering the first turn. Checked rounding turn into the front straight.

1 Maywyn A Cracker - Tightened for room entering the first turn and was severely checked. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to the offside stopper bone and was stood down for a period of 21 days.

2 Spring Luna - Had its heels contacted entering the first turn and was checked.

5 Barefoot Wah Wah - Slow to begin. Advanced onto the heels of another runner through the first turn and was checked.

6 Daysea's Sam - Checked racing through first turn.

7 Cherokee Chant - Tightened for room through first turn and was inconvenienced.

8 Spot On Mate - Held wide throughout the majority of the event.

Race 8 - FEDERAL MORGAN AT STUD BEST 8 288m

1 Specified - Quick to begin.

2 Break And Enter - Severely checked entering the first turn.

4 Ringbark Road - Severely checked entering the first turn.

5 Tuta Stripes - Severely checked entering the first turn. Immediately after the greyhound abruptly shortened stride and failed to finish the event. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to the offside hock and was stood down for a period of 90 days and must complete a satisfactory veterinary trial prior to returning to racing.

6 Alvey - Checked racing through first turn.

Race 9 - CHRIS BRYDON RACING GRADE 4 288m

1 Cheeky Willow - Checked entering the first turn.

2 She's So Gnarley - Quick to begin. Inconvenienced when crossed by another runner in the front straight.

3 Ginger Ginger - Checked entering the first turn.

4 Aces Up - Checked entering the first turn.

6 Rosdue Rockette - Checked entering the first turn.

7 Earn And Return- Commenced to weaken entering the first turn and tailed the field for remainder of event. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to the near hind back muscle and was stood down for a period of 28 days and must complete a satisfactory veterinary trial prior to returning to racing. Trainer Mr N Catchpole advised Stewards that he would consider retiring the greyhound following today’s findings.

Race 10 - WWW.IPSWICHGREYHOUNDS.COM GRADE 5 (1) 288m

This event finished on the lure due to the fallen greyhound in the back straight.

2 Kooringa- Quick to begin.

3 Silky Sam - Severely checked entering the first turn causing the greyhound to fall and take no further part in the event. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to the near hind toe and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

4 Clawfoot - Checked entering first turn.

5 Daysea's Rikki - Checked entering the first turn.

6 Dimple Man - Severely checked entering the first turn. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which did not reveal any significant findings.

8 Dream Dancer - Inconvenienced racing through the first turn.
