Stewards spoke to trainers’ representative P Rigg regarding the greyhounds racing manners entering the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 My Gal Cookie was charged with marring. My Gal Cookie was found guilty. As this was My Gal Cookie 1^st  offence the greyhound was suspended for 28 days at Ipswich Track and must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 123, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Race 10 - M & K BUTCHERS 5TH GRADE HEAT 4 GRADE 5 288m

2 Rosdue Swagman Checked leaving the turn into the home straight.

5 Miner's Light Checked entering the turn out of the back straight. Checked leaving the turn into the home straight.

8 Ranger Rod Bumped rounding the turn into the home straight. Severely checked and fell leaving the turn into the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to off fore foot, 21 days stand down from racing.
