General: Trainer Peter O’Reilly was reprimanded under GAR 156(f)(ii) negligence after leaving the course and failing to present to the swab official to conduct a post-race sample with his winner from race 11 in adequate time after the last event.

6 Summer Fiesta – Checked soon after the start, checked on the first turn. Turned its head outwards taking it attention away from the lure entering the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Steward’s spoke to trainer Jeffrey Henzell regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After viewing the video replay and considered submissions from the trainer and the veterinary report, Stewards invoked GAR 124 Fail to Pursue 1st offence - 28 day stand down at Ipswich and must complete a satisfactory Steward’s trial prior to racing next.

7 Henry Delatt – Slow to begin, checked on the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

8 Snake Eyes Senna – Checked soon after the start, bumped in the back straight.

Race 4 - DOVER & SONS NPW 431m

2 Far More Women – Checked on the first turn.

3 White Claw – Checked on the first turn.

4 Shinigami – Checked on the first turn, faulted in its action in the back straight and trailed the field for the remainder of the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a near side hind leg injury and an offside wrist injury the greyhound has been stood down 28 days and must complete a satisfactory Steward’s trial prior to racing next.

7 Always Broke – Checked entering the back straight.

8 This Time Buddy – Checked entering the back straight.

10 Mad Max Blue (5) – Trailed the field throughout. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Steward’s spoke to trainers represent Kylie Raines regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After viewing the video replay and considered submissions from Ms Raines, Stewards invoked GAR 124 Fail to Pursue 2nd offence - 28 day stand down at all tracks and must complete a satisfactory Steward’s trial prior to racing next.
