Race 1 - TAB VENUE MODE MAIDEN HEAT 1 MAIDEN 288m

1 Amartey Party – Severely checked and fell in the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to the off side pin and was subsequently stood down for 7 days.

2 He's Half Ours – Severely checked in the first turn.

3 Pink Moon – Severely checked and fell in the first turn. Tailed the field for the remainder of the event.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities.

4 Mott The Hoople – Severely checked in the first turn.

5 Shian Ollie – Eased and turned its head inwards towards another runner rounding the home turn. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off side hip, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr P Shaxson regarding the greyhounds racing manners rounding the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Shian Ollie was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment by reason of injury. Shian Ollie must complete a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 125, before any future nomination will be accepted.

6 Galway Glitz – Severely checked in the first turn and took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to the off fore leg. Subsequently, the greyhound was stood down for 90 days and will be required to complete an injury trial prior to returning to racing. This matter will be referred to the Greyhound injury review panel.

7 Atomic Travis – Severely checked and became unbalanced in the first turn.

8 Lads On Fire – Slow to begin.

Race 2 - SKY RACING MAIDEN HEAT 2 MAIDEN 288m

1 Great Mate – Checked in the first turn and became unbalanced. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to the off side shoulder and was subsequently stood down for 10 days. Stewards spoke to trainer N Creighton regarding the racing manners of Great Mate in the first turn. After hearing evidence from Mr Creighton, viewing all the available race footage and considering mitigating circumstances, stewards could not be satisfied the greyhound had contravened any rule and therefore took no further action.

2 Galway Flash – Stumbled shortly after the start.

5 Valkyrie Amelia – Severely checked and fell in the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities.

6 Style Council – Severely checked in the first turn.

7 Be Desired – Severely checked in the first turn.

8 Kiki's Boy – Checked in the first turn.

10 Princess Bride (4) – Severely checked in the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to the off side wrist and was subsequently stood down for 10 days.

7 Velocity Carly – Slipped leaving the boxes. Checked in the first turn and again leaving the first turn.

4 Wildash Jett – Checked approaching the first turn. Fell shortly after the winning post. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities.

Race 7 - FEDERAL MORGAN AT STUD 5TH GRADE FINAL GRADE 5 288m

1 Bundy Bounce – Checked rounding the home turn. Bumped with another runner in the home straight.

4 Wind And Fire – Checked approaching the first turn.

7 Dixie Zambora – Raced wide rounding the home turn.

9 Master Mars (5) – Checked in the first turn. Checked rounding the home turn. Bumped with another runner in the home straight.

Race 8 - TREMBATH TYRES BEST 8 288m

2 Tuta Yankee – Bumped with another runner rounding the home turn.

6 Specified – Checked approaching the first turn. Bumped with another runner rounding the home turn.

7 Alvey – Checked approaching the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities.

2 Powder Keg – Checked and became unbalanced forcing another runner wider rounding the home turn.

3 Quantum Blue – Severely checked, taken wider by another runner and made contact with the outside fencing rounding the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities.

4 Class Of Twenty – Collided with another runner and lost balance in the home straight.

5 Cherokee Chant – Checked shortly after the start.

6 Tuta Delta – Checked off heels and collided with another runner in the home straight.

7 Empire Rolls On – Checked in the first turn.

8 Whether To Fly – Checked in the home straight.

Race 10 - ROWAN ANDERSON JOURNALIST MA5 288m

5 Dynamite Travis – Checked approaching the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to the near side elbow and was subsequently stood down for 7 days.

6 Cosmic Val – Slow to begin. Raced wide rounding the home turn.

Race 11 - TAB GRADE 5 (1) 288m

3 Vecna – Bumped with another runner over the concluding stages.

5 Nandina – Bumped with another runner over the concluding stages.

9 Velocity Kensie (7) – Checked approaching the first turn. Made contact with the running rail leaving the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to the off side elbow and was subsequently stood down for 7 days.

4 Back Moo Moo – Checked approaching the first turn.

6 Cockney Sparrow – Checked off heels approaching the home turn.
