Race 1 - TAB VENUE MODE MAIDEN 431m

1 Whispering Abbey – Entering the home straight shifted in colliding with another runner.

2 Keep You Posted – Into the 1^st turn was tightened.

3 Manuka Duck – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was deemed a late scratching at 2:01pm on veterinary advice due to injury and was subsequently stood down from racing for 14 days.

4 Lenny Rocks Out – Into the 1^st turn was checked.

5 Spring Flare – Into the 1^st turn was inconvenienced, into the back turn improved onto heels and was checked, entering the home straight was severely checked.

6 Johnny Baha – In the home straight was severely checked.

7 My Shrek – Slow to begin.

8 Rita's Duck – Slow to begin, into the back turn was tightened. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 2 - SKY RACING NOVICE 431m

3 Urraca – Slow to begin.

4 King Brockie – Slow to begin, into the back turn checked across heels.

5 Dandelion – Slow to begin, through the 1^st turn was severely checked.

8 Sid's Mate – Through the 1^st turn was checked.

1 Bentley Boom – Approaching the 1^st turn checked across heels, near the finish was marred by another runner.

2 Lady Mcbeth – Near the finish was tightened, falling as a result. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

4 Berta's Babe – Near the finish shifted out making head and muzzle contact with the runner to its outside. Stewards spoke to trainer R Attard regarding the greyhound’s racing manners at that stage of the event, after reviewing the video replay and the submissions for Mr Attard, stewards deemed that Berta’s Babe did make head contact with the greyhound to its outside therefore invoked GAR 123 Marring. As this was the greyhound’s 3rd offence under this rule Berta’s Babe was suspended from racing at all tracks for 3 months and until the successful completion of 2 satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

Race 4 - DOVER & SONS GRADE 5 (1) 431m

3 Boxing On – Slow to begin, into the 1^st turn was checked.

4 Skill Set – Slow to begin, into the 1^st turn was checked.

6 Feel The Magic – Slow to begin, into the 1^st turn was severely checked.

8 Dandy Battler – Through the 1^st turn was inconvenienced.

Race 5 - GREYHOUND_DATA.COM GRADE 5 (2) 431m

4 Daysea's Rikki – Shortly after the start was tightened.

5 Cake Is Good – Slow to begin.

6 Aces Up – Into the 1^st turn was checked.

7 Spring Sonic – Through the 1^st turn was inconvenienced.

8 Ruby Shines – Through the 1^st turn was inconvenienced.

9 Boom Boom Harley (2) – Into the 1^st turn marred the runner to its inside, Leaving the 1^st turn was checked. Stewards spoke to trainer P O’Reilly regarding the greyhound’s actions into the 1^st turn. After reviewing the video replay and Mr O’Reilly’s acknowledgment for his greyhound’s action, stewards invoked GAR 123 Marring. As this was the greyhound’s 1st offence under this rule Boom Boom Harley was suspended from racing at all tracks for 28 days at Ipswich and until the successful completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

1 Ticket To Venus – Leaving the 1^st turn was inconvenienced.

2 Spring Aster – Into the 1^st turn was tightened.

3 Speed Badke – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was passed fit to race. Into the 1^st turn was tightened.

4 Buster Up – Into the 1^st turn was tightened.

5 She's So Gnarley – Into the 1^st turn was tightened, into the back turn was checked.

6 Romantic Verses – Into the 1^st turn was tightened. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its offside foreleg and was stood down from racing for 21 days.

7 Bora Blue – Over the final stages checked across heels.

8 State Of Rage – Through the 1^st turn was galloped and checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury sustained to its back and was stood down from racing for 60 days and must complete a steward’s trial prior to racing next after the injury period has expired. Trainer K Forrester advised stewards it would be his intention to retire the greyhound.

Race 7 - BODHI INK TATTOO GALLERY 5TH GRADE FINAL GRADE 5 431m

1 Blue Rex – Into the back turn was inconvenienced.

2 Spot On Lads – Into the 1^st turn was tightened.

3 Spring Gault – Slow to begin, into the 1^st turn tightened.

5 Booming Boo Boo – Slow to begin, into the 1^st turn was checked.

6 Pink Summer – Through the 1^st turn was inconvenienced.

10 Godges (7) – Into the back turn was checked.

Race 8 - GARRARD'S HORSE & HOUND BEST 8 431m

1 Bailey – Leaving the 1^st turn was checked, approaching the back turn improved onto heels.

3 Desley's Girl – Through the back turn was checked.

4 Spring Rock – Leaving the 1^st turn was tightened and inconvenienced, through the back turn was checked.

6 Kasey's Money – Leaving the 1^st turn was inconvenienced, through the back turn was checked.

2 Royal Look – Into the 1^st turn was tightened, approaching the back turn was tightened and checked.

4 Annika Mac – Into the 1^st turn was checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its offside fore carpus and was stood down from racing for 21 days.

5 Spring Acer – Slow to begin, into the 1^st turn was inconvenienced, through the 1^st turn improved onto heels.

6 Make Me Dizzy – Into the 1^st turn was checked.

A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its nearside fore toenail and was stood down from racing for 7 days. Trainer C Dargusch stated they are going to retire the bitch from racing.

7 Action Now – Into the 1^st turn was tightened, leaving the 1^st turn was checked.

8 Wedding Or Baby – Through the 1^st turn was inconvenienced.
