9 Rita's Duck – Declared a late scratching @ 1:18pm.

6 Top Trip Pam – Checked in the first turn. Bumped entering the back straight.

7 Kaypat World – Improved onto heels in the back straight.

8 Spring Ethic – Checked in the first turn. Turned its head outwards towards another runner on multiple occasions in the back straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the near hind leg, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainers representative Mr S Byers, regarding the greyhounds’ racing manners in the back straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Spring Ethic was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment by reason of injury. The greyhound must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 125, before any future nomination will be accepted.

3 Flying Yumi – Slow to begin. Checked approaching the top turn.

7 Nando Sid – Gave ground in the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to the offside pin and was subsequently stood down for 28 days. Nando Sid will be required to complete an injury trial prior to returning to racing.
