10 Sirius Dawn – Approaching the back turn was checked. Into the back turn made contact with the running rail. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

1 Dam Slipperier – Approaching the back turn was severely checked, in the home straight was inconvenienced.

2 Make Me Dizzy – Approaching the 1^st turn was tightened, approaching the back turn was severely checked. In the home straight bumped with another runner. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its offside back muscle and was stood down from racing for 7 days.

3 Mazikeen Smith – Into the 1^st turn was checked.

4 Booming Myah – Into the 1^st turn was checked, approaching the back turn was checked.

5 Absolute Desire – Approaching the back turn was severely checked.

6 My Melanie – Into the 1^st turn was inconvenienced.

Race 8 - GJ WALSH & CO 4/5 GRADE FINAL MIXED 4/5 520m

3 Go Bing – Shortly after the finish collided with another runner falling as a result. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

6 Fleet Feet Pete – Near the finish was severely inconvenienced and marred by another runner.

7 Emerald Eyes – Leaving the 1^st turn was galloped on, near the finish shifted out marring another runner. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its nearside pin and was stood down from racing for 14 days. Stewards spoke to trainer P Field regarding the greyhound’s actions into the home straight. After reviewing the video replay and hearing Ms Field’s evidence, stewards invoked GAR 123 Marring. As this was the greyhound’s 1st offence under this rule Emerald Eyes was suspended from racing at Ipswich for 28 days and until the successful completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial after the injury period has expired, prior to racing next.

9 Master Pele – Shortly after the start was checked.

10 Diva’s Boy – Shortly after the finish collided with another runner falling as a result. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

3 Future's Changed – Into the 1^st turn was severely checked.

4 Media Rights – Slow to begin, through the 1^st turn checked off heels. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its nearside pin and was stood down from racing for 10 days

7 Replication – Into the 1^st turn was severely checked, through the 1^st turn collided with another runner.

8 Ruby Shines – Slow to begin, into the 1^st turn was inconvenienced.

Race 10 - WHITE ROSE BOARDING KENNELS MIXED 3/4 431m

3 Buster Up – Leaving the 1^st turn was checked.

4 Pokie Payout – Into the 1^st turn was checked, in the back straight checked off heels.

5 Sunshine Delight – Into the back turn put in an awkward stride taking no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed injury to its offside hind leg and was stood down from racing for 90 days. The greyhound was transported to the North Lakes veterinary clinic for further assessment. This matter will be referred to the greyhound racing injury review panel. Trainer P McIlveen was advised the greyhound must complete a steward’s trial prior to racing next once the injury stand down period has expired.

6 Cake Is Bad – In the back straight was galloped on.

Race 11 - GARRARD'S HORSE & HOUND GRADE 5 (1) 431m

2 Locked On Scotch – Into the 1^st turn was checked.

3 Monza – Slow to begin, through the back turn was severely checked.

5 Swift Zach – Slow to begin, into the 1^st turn was checked.

8 Liberty Valance – Through the back turn was severely checked.

1 Booming Boo Boo – Into the back turn was severely checked almost falling. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.
