Race 1 - RED DOG MECHANIX MAIDEN 2 520m

2 Valhalla – Slow to begin.

3 Villain – Into the first turn was tightened. Through the first turn was checked. Into the back turn was severely checked falling as a result. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

5 Turbo Blaster – Slow to begin. Into the back turn was severely checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its nearside hind foot split/nail and was stood down from racing for 5 days.

Race 2 - GARRARD'S HORSE & HOUND MAIDEN FINAL MAIDEN 2 520m

2 Comical Hope – Into the first turn was tightened and made contact with the running rail. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury its near hind foot and was subsequently stood down from racing for 10 days.

5 Ringbark Razor – Into the first turn shifted in making contact with the running rail. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

6 Lenny Rocks Out – Into the first turn was checked and severely inconvenienced. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

8 Ten Pars – Into the first turn was checked and severely inconvenienced.

9 Bay Street Boy – Began awkwardly. Approaching the back turn was tightened and severely checked.

Race 3 - GJ WALSH & CO NOVICE (1) 2 520m

2 Moonshine Babe – Shortly after the start was tightened a short distance later was severely checked almost falling.

3 Haumole - A short distance after the start was inconvenienced. From the home turn until the finish severely inconvenienced and marred by another runner.

4 He's Classified – A short distance after the start shifted in abruptly marring another runner almost falling as a result. Entering the home straight until the finish marred another runner. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to the offside hip support and was subsequently stood down for 10 days. Stewards spoke to trainer C Mutton regarding the greyhound’s actions after the start. After reviewing the video replay and Mr Mutton’s acknowledgment for his greyhound’s action, stewards invoked GAR 123 Marring. As this was the greyhound’s 1st offence under this rule, He’s Classified was suspended from racing for 28 days at Ipswich and until the successful completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next once the injury period has expired.

7 Fernvale Flash – Into the first turn checked across heels. Rounding the home turn was tightened.

Race 4 - JUST GREYHOUND PHOTOS NOVICE (2) 2 520m

3 Torque It Up - Shortly after the start was checked.

6 Rebel Blaster – Through the back turn improved onto heels and was checked. Entering the home straight was checked.

7 After Affair – Through the back turn was galloped on.

Race 5 - CHASE NEWSPAPER GRADE 5 (1) 2 520m

1 Morse Code – Into the first turn was checked. Entering the home straight turned its head making muzzle contact with another runner to its inside. Stewards spoke to trainer J Crawford regarding the greyhound’s actions into the home straight. After reviewing the video replay and Mr J Crawford’s acknowledgment for his greyhound’s action, stewards invoked GAR 123 Marring. As this was the greyhound’s 1st offence under this rule Morse Code was suspended from racing for 28 days at Ipswich and until the successful completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

2 Hara's Harvey – Through the first turn checked off heels. Rounding the home turn checked across heels.

7 Witty Wendy - Into the first turn was Inconvenienced. Through the first turn was inconvenienced.

Race 6 - GREYHOUND GEAR GRADE 5 (2) 2 520m

2 Baccarat Boy – Slow to begin.

4 Mighty Gunn – Slow to begin.

6 Orbital – Into the first turn was dragged down and severely checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

7 Out Of Gas – Into the first turn improved onto heels and was severely checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

8 Buster Up – Into the first turn was severely checked falling as a result. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

6 Booming Myah – Into the first turn was inconvenienced.

7 Rab Ruadh Jimmy – Into the first turn was checked.

8 Polly's Jester - Into the first turn was checked.

5 Where's Johnson – Into the first turn was checked. A short distance later put in an awkward stride. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its offside hind toe and was stood down from racing for 28 days. Trainer G Deering was advised the greyhound must complete a steward’s trial prior to racing next.

7 Rusty Demon – Into the first turn was checked.

8 Rough System – Into the first turn was inconvenienced.

Race 11 - TAB VENUE MODE MIXED 4/5 2 520m

3 Laughing Les – Into the first turn was tightened.

4 Sunburst – Rounding the home turn was held up for clear running. Entering the home straight checked across heels.

7 Iconic – Shortly after the start was tightened.

8 Kasey's Money – Through the first turn improved onto heels.

3 Major Blip – Into the first turn was tightened.
