Race 1 - TAB VENUE MODE MAIDEN (1) 3 431m

1 Sirius Forrest Checked entering the turn into the back straight.

2 Raven Rose Turned its head to the inside away from the lure and collided with another runner on several occasions rounding the turn into the home straight.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside pin 7 days stand down from racing. Stewards spoke to Gerald Corrigan, the trainer of Raven Rose regarding the greyhound’s racing manners rounding the turn into the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 124(1) Raven Rose was found in breach of failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. As this was Raven Rose’s 3^rd offence the greyhound was suspended for 3 months at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 124(1), before any future nomination will be accepted.

5 Shian Ricky Checked entering the back straight.

7 Lenny Rocks Out Checked and took an awkward step rounding the turn out of the back straight.

Race 2 - SKY RACING MAIDEN (2) 3 431m

4 Turbo Blaster Dragged down rounding the turn out of the back straight.

5 Sirius Zoe Checked entering the turn into the back straight.

6 Sirius Wilson Checked entering the turn into the back straight.

8 Mr. Savant Checked entering the turn into the back straight. Checked and commenced to give ground entering the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the off hind leg, 90 days stand down from racing and satisfactory completion of one stewards trial prior to racing next. This matter will be referred to the Greyhound Racing Injury Review Panel.

9 Little Hercules (7) Checked entering the turn into the back straight. Improved upon the heels of another runner rounding the turn out of the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent injury.

2 Spring Flare Checked shortly after the start. Bumped entering the home straight.

1 Bold Character Stewards spoke to trainers representative Ben Shephard regarding the greyhounds improved performance. He stated that Bold Character had spelled for several months and trialled well at the distance.

1 Magistrate Checked shortly after the start.

2 Blaze A Trail Checked shortly after the start.

3 Sonic Wheels Checked shortly after the start. Checked entering the back straight.

4 Classy Nebo Checked shortly after the start. Checked entering the back straight.

5 Booming Boo Boo Checked shortly after the start. Checked entering the back straight.

8 Dolly Dutton Checked shortly after the start. Turned its head to the outside, shifted out and made muzzle contact with another runner approaching the finish. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the near side hip, 10 days stand down from racing.  

 Stewards spoke to trainers’ representative Sarah Monaghan regarding the greyhounds’ racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 Dolly Dutton was found in breach of marring. As this was Dolly Dutton’s 1^st offence the greyhound was suspended for 28 days at Ipswich Track and must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 123, before any future nomination will be accepted.

4 Mallanganee Miss Checked entering the turn into the back straight.

6 Uzman Dutton Marginally slow to begin. Checked entering the turn into the back straight. Checked leaving the turn into the home straight.
