A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside hip injury the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days. Steward’s spoke to trainer Lance Mcpaul regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After viewing the video replay and considered submissions from the trainer and the veterinary report, Stewards invoked GAR 125 Fail to Pursue with injury – 10 days stand down at Ipswich and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.
