4 Whispering Abbey Checked and commenced to give ground leaving the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the near side hip, 7 days stand down from racing.

6 Fawn Rocket Man Checked off heels rounding the turn into the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the near side pin, 7 days stand down from racing.

Race 2 - SKY RACING NOVICE (1) 2 520m

1 Born To Rave Shifted out, turned its head to the out side, away from the lure, passing the middle stage of the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent injury.

Stewards spoke to Matt Bourke, the trainer of Born To Rave regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124(1) failing to pursue the lure with due commitment, Born To Rave was found in breach and suspended for 28 days at Ipswich and must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 127(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
