7 Elly Blaster – Gave ground entering the back straight and took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a near side hip injury the greyhound has been stood down for 14 days.

8 San Polo – Eased and turned its head inwards on a number of occasions in the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a chest muscle strain the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days. Steward’s spoke to trainers representative David Eisel regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After viewing the video replay and considered submissions from the trainer and the veterinary report, Stewards invoked GAR 124 Fail to Pursue 1st offence - 28 day stand down at all tracks and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.
