Turned its head to the outside and shifted out making muzzle contact with another runner leaving the turn into the home straight. Turned its head to the outside away from the lure and shifted out running wide entering the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the near hind back, 7 days stand down from racing.
Stewards spoke to D Bailey, the trainer of Farmor Relief regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 marring, Farmor Relief was found in breach and suspended for 28 days at Ipswich and must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 127 before any future nomination will be accepted. |
