7 Jackson's Miss – Checked approaching the first turn. Checked approaching the top turn. Eased and turned its head inwards towards another runner entering the home straight. Stewards spoke to Mr R Jacobsen the trainer of Jackson’s Miss regarding the greyhound’s racing manners entering the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124(1) failing to pursue the lure with due commitment Jackson’s Miss was suspended for 28 days at Ipswich and must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 127(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

After the running of race four stewards reviewed the race footage in relation to the start of the event. Stewards where satisfied that all runners started from the correct boxes and all clear was given.

1 Born To Lead – Checked entering the first turn.

2 Jupiter – Checked entering the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to the offside wrist and was subsequently stood down for 7 days.

3 Lenny Rocks Out – Checked entering the first turn. Checked in the back straight.
