Race 1 - TAB VENUE MODE MAIDEN 288m

3 Street Angel Visibly eased and turned its head to the outside away from the lure, entering the turn out of the back straight. Shifted out and collided with another runner leaving the turn into the home straight. Turned its head out and made muzzle contact with a runner to its outside entering the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent injury.

Stewards spoke to J Brandt, the handler of Street Angel regarding the greyhound’s racing manners entering the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 marring, Street Angel was found in breach, and suspended for 28 days at Ipswich and must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 127, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards spoke to M Campbell, the Trainer of Yesterday Knight regarding the greyhound’s racing manners entering the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 marring, Yesterday Knight was found in breach, and suspended for 28 days at Ipswich and must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 127, before any future nomination will be accepted.
