Race 1 - TAB VENUE MODE MDNPW 431m

1 Bremmer Belle – Slow to begin. Gave ground shortly after the start taking no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to the off hind calf muscle and was subsequently stood down for 21days.

3 Good Chat Mort – Bumped in the first turn.

4 Power Of Bob – Slow to begin.

5 Fawn Rocket Man – Checked in the first turn.

6 My Lassie – Slow to begin.

8 My Shrek – Slow to begin. Checked off heels entering the back straight. A post-race veterinary

examination revealed no significant abnormalities.

Race 2 - SKY RACING MAIDEN (1) 431m

1 Farmor Leeway – Dragged down from behind in the home straight.

3 Shian Maggie – Bumped in the first turn.

5 Azir – Checked in the first turn.

6 Farmor Too Come – Bumped in the first turn.

7 Bow Street – Checked in the first turn. Improved onto heels in the home straight.

8 Toffee Coffee – Checked in the first turn.

Trainer Mr S Swift was reminded of his obligations in relation to the starting procedure.

2 Sirius Bill – Bumped shortly after the start.

5 Blinky – Bumped entering the back straight.

7 Manila Daisy – Bumped in the first turn.

8 Farmor Intrusion – Bumped in the first turn.

Race 4 - DOVER & SONS NOVICE 431m

3 Vernan Park – Dragged down and checked entering the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to the off hind leg and was subsequently stood down for 5 days.

4 Chainsaw Ricky – Severely checked in the first turn.

5 Scenic Sizzler – Bumped in the first turn. Improved onto heels entering the back straight.

6 Luke's Babe – Checked in the first turn.

7 Vixen Cruiser – Checked in the first turn.

8 Estonian Lady – Checked in the first turn. Checked and became unbalanced entering the back straight.

Race 5 - GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS GRADE 5 (1) 431m

The all clear was delayed to allow Stewards the opportunity to review all replay footage to ascertain if a bird had interfered with any runners in the event. Stewards determined that no greyhounds’ chances were materially affected and the all clear was given.

4 Spenser Franklin – In the home straight shifted out marring the runner to its outside. Stewards spoke to trainer Cameron Austin regarding the greyhound’s racing manners at that stage of the event, after hearing the steward’s observation, reviewing the video replay and the trainers’ submissions, stewards deemed that Spenser Franklin did make head contact with the greyhound to its outside therefore invoked GAR 123 Marring. As this was the greyhound’s 1st offence under this rule Spenser Franklin was suspended from racing at Ipswich for 28 days and until the completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

5 Farmor Lucky – Slow to begin. Checked in the first turn and lost ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities.

6 It's Time Lionel – Bumped rounding the home turn.

7 Single Figures – Marred by another runner in the home straight.
