Race 1 - TAB VENUE MODE MAIDEN 2 520m

1 Minter Delight Bumped on several occasions in the front straight.

6 Hole In One Turned its head to the outside away from the lure, shifted out and collided with another runner passing the middle of the home straight. Eased stride approaching the finish. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent injury.

Stewards spoke to Michael Vaughan, the trainer of Hole In One regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124(1) failing to pursue the lure with due commitment Hole In One was found in breach and suspended for 28 days at ipswich and must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 127(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Race 2 - O RESERVE **** SKY RACING NOVICE 2 520m

1 Modern Madonna Collided with another runner rounding the turn out of the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the off side hip, 10 days stand down from racing.

4 Farmor Smitten Checked entering the turn out of the front straight. Checked off heels rounding the turn into the home straight.

6 First Dance Checked entering the turn out of the front straight.

2 Rebel Blaster Checked off heels entering the turn out of the front straight. Bumped on several occasions and shifted out, rounding the turn into the home straight.

6 Big Nose Ted Began awkwardly.
