1 Rita's Duck- Checked approaching first turn.

2 Good Chat Mort- Checked approaching first turn.

4 Manuka Duck- Checked approaching first turn. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which did not reveal any abnormalities.  

5 Lorna's Flying- Checked shortly after the start.

3 Sir Earl- Underwent a post-race veterinary examination when the greyhound was reported to have slipped its collar and escaped its handler during the sample collection process. The examination did not reveal any abnormalities.  

4 Faustina- Checked in first turn.

Race 4 - DOVER & SONS NOVICE (1) 288m

1 Par Seventy – Late scratching at 9.54am when Trainer Eric Raeburn reported the greyhound to have an injury to the near side fibular. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate.

3 Maxine Magic- Checked in first turn causing the greyhound to fall and trail the field for remainder of the event. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to the off hind leg and was stood down from racing for 5 days.

5 Sirius Keith- Checked in first turn causing the greyhound to fall and trail the field for remainder of the event. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which did not reveal any abnormalities

8 Simmering- Checked in first turn. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to the off fore wrist and was stood down from racing for 7 days.

Race 5 - GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS NOVICE (2) 288m

2 Spin Master- Checked entering the first turn causing the greyhound to fall and take no further part in the event. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which did not reveal any abnormalities.

4 Smooth Munny- Checked entering first turn.

6 Give Me Donuts- Checked entering first turn.

7 Love You Wayne- Checked entering the first turn and abruptly come to a stop taking no further part in the event. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to the near foreleg and was stood down from racing for 90 days. Stewards ordered that the greyhound must complete a satisfactory trial before any future nominations are accepted.

8 Vixen Cruiser- Checked entering first turn.

Stewards delayed giving the All Clear to allow them the opportunity to review all replay footage after the lure cover was left on during the event. Stewards determined that no greyhounds chances were materially prejudiced and all clear was sounded.

6 Guru Bart- Stewards spoke to trainer S Boody regarding the greyhound’s actions in the home straight, after reviewing the video replay and hearing the submissions from Mr Boody, Stewards took no further action.

8 You May Annie- Commenced to shorten stride shortly after the start and trailed the field for remainder of the event. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to the near hind back muscle and was stood down from racing for 28 days. Stewards ordered that the greyhound must complete a satisfactory trial before any future nominations are accepted. Connections advised that they would consider retiring the greyhound following todays findings.
