1 Big Apatite – Checked on the first turn, checked entering the back straight.

3 Remembering – Checked on the first turn, eased and turned it head outwards in the back straight and took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside pin injury the greyhound has been stood down for 14 days. Steward’s spoke to trainer Cynthia Suttle regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After viewing the video replay and considered submissions from the trainer and the veterinary report, Stewards invoked GAR 125 Fail to Pursue with injury - 14 day stand down at Ipswich and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next. The trainer advised the greyhound will now be retired.
