Race 1 - TAB VENUE MODE MAIDEN 2 520m

2 Need A Moment – Checked approaching the first turn.

4 Good Chat Mort – Checked in the first turn.

7 My Ace – Checked in the front straight and again entering the first turn.

8 Blue Oregon – Eased and turned its head outward towards another runner rounding the home turn and again approaching the winning post. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the near side hip, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr D Lee regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125(a), failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Blue Oregon must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 127(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Race 2 - SKY RACING NOVICE 2 520m

3 Pakington Street – Checked in the back straight.

4 Frame Game – A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities.

5 Modern Madonna – Severely checked and became unbalanced in the first turn.

6 Social Strategy – Checked shortly after the start. Severely checked in the first turn.

9 Kaypat World – Checked approaching the top turn.

Race 3 - DOUGLAS BYRNES MEMORIAL MIXED 4/5 2 431m

2 Live Stream – Checked rounding the first turn.

3 Spring Cedar – Checked in the first turn.

9 Add To Cart – Checked in the first turn.

Race 5 - DOVER & SONS 0-3 WINS 3 630m

9 Peking Goose – Checked and fell shortly after the start taking no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities.

Race 6 - GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS MA5 2 520m

1 Bit Of Mischief – Checked rounding the home turn.

2 Supreme Stream – Checked entering the back straight. Checked rounding the home turn.

3 Oh So Bro – Turned its head outwards taking its attention away from the lure rounding the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainer B Woods regarding the greyhound’s actions at that stage of the event, after reviewing the video replay and the hearing the submissions from Mr Woods, stewards deemed Oh So Bro had taken its attention away from the lure therefore invoked GAR 124 Failing to Pursue. As this was the greyhound’s 3rd offence under this rule Oh So Bro was suspended from racing at all tracks for 3 months and until the successful completion of 2 satisfactory steward’s trials.

4 Matt Chew Man – Bumped with another runner in the home straight.

5 Wrong Girl Harry – Bumped with another runner in the home straight.

7 Fleet Feet Pete – Bumped with another runner in the home straight.

8 Majestic Man – Bumped with another runner in the home straight.

2 Phantom Jasper – Checked in the first turn.

5 Seaway Flyer - Began awkwardly. Checked in the first turn and became unbalanced.

6 Jimmy The Singer – Checked in the first turn. Bumped with another runner on multiple occasions entering the back straight.

7 Stone Cold Blue – Checked in the first turn and became unbalanced. Bumped with another runner on multiple occasions entering the back straight. Checked rounding the top turn.

Race 8 - FEDERAL MORGAN AT STUD 5TH GRADE FINAL GRADE 5 2 520m

1 My King – Checked in the first turn.

2 Tarawi Magic – Checked in the first turn.

3 Flying Promise – Severely checked in the first turn.

Race 9 – TAB GRADE 5 (1) 2 431m

1 Sushi Mango – Checked rounding the home turn.

3 Freddy Vegas – Checked in the first turn.

7 Jump Man – Checked in the first turn. Checked rounding the home turn.

8 Unique Maurice – Checked in the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to the near side back muscle and was subsequently stood down for 14 days.

1 Downpipe – Declared a late scratching @ 4:26pm acting on veterinary advice.

2 Counter Advance – Checked entering the back straight. Checked and made contact with the running rail in the top turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to the off fore flexor tendon and was stood down from racing for 21 days.

3 Cool Hand Rick – Checked in the first turn.

4 Wild Ritza – Turned its head outwards taking its attention away from the lure in the home straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the near fore bicep a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr B Higgs regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125(a), failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Wild Ritza must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 127(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

6 Narkunda – Checked in the first turn.
