Race 1 - TAB VENUE MODE MAIDEN (1) 431m

1 My Lassie Checked entering the turn into the back straight.

5 Shian Maggie Checked entering the turn into the back straight. Checked rounding the turn into the home straight. Checked entering the home straight. Turned its head to the inside, shifted in and made muzzle contact with a runner to its inside entering the home straight.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the near side pin, 7 days stand down from racing.

Stewards spoke to Kerry Hoggan, the trainer of Shian Maggie regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 marring, Shian Maggie was found in breach and suspended for 28 days at Ipswich and must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 127, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Race 2 - SKY RACING MAIDEN (2) 431m

5 Farmor Chaotic Severely checked and fell leaving the turn into the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the near fore leg, 90 days stand down from racing and satisfactory completion of one stewards trial prior to racing next.

8 Clock Stopper Severely checked and fell leaving the turn into the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent injury.

A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent injury.  Stewards spoke to Shane Topping, the trainer of Jury's Out regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 marring, Jury's Out was found in breach and suspended for 28 days at Ipswich and must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 127, before any future nomination will be accepted.
