Race 4 - DOVER & SONS NOVICE 431m

3 Tuta Grizzly - Checked in the first turn, checked entering the back straight.

5 Grigoryan – Checked entering the first turn, checked in the first turn, checked entering the back straight. Shifted out in the home straight marring the runner to its outside. Stewards spoke to trainer Jamie Hosking regarding the greyhound’s racing manners at that stage of the event, after hearing the steward’s observation, reviewing the video replay and the trainers’ submissions, stewards deemed that Grigoryan did make head contact with the greyhound to its outside therefore invoked GAR 123 Marring. As this was the greyhound’s 1st offence under this rule Grigoryan was suspended from racing at Ipswich for 28 days and until the completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.
