1 Rhodes Maree- Late scratching at 3.20pm due to weight variation (GAR 101(1). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, D Lee was fined $100 acting under GAR 101(3)(b) |

3 Russian Robyn- Checked in first turn. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to the offside foreleg toe fracture and was stood down for 60 days. Stewards ordered that the greyhound must complete a satisfactory trial before returning to racing. |

5 Nev's Baby- Checked in first turn. Entering the turn out of the back straight and into the home straight, shifted out marring the runner to its outside. Stewards spoke to trainer B Giltinan regarding the greyhound’s racing manners at that stage of the event, after hearing the steward’s observation, reviewing the video replay and the trainers’ submissions, stewards deemed that Nev’s Baby did make head contact with the greyhound to its outside therefore invoked GAR 123 Marring. As this was the greyhound’s 1st offence under this rule Nev’s Baby was suspended from racing at Ipswich for 28 days and until the completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next. |
