General: Trainer Robert Jacobsen was questions in regard to the fitness and performance of the greyhound Go Katie Go after taking evidence from Mr Jacobsen Stewards have adjourned the inquiry. Go Katie Go is to be taken to an off-course Veterinarian for further assessment.

2 Spring Sonic – Slow to begin, shifted out and collided with another runner making muzzle contact entering the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

Steward’s spoke to trainers representative Shane Byers regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 123 Marring 1st offence - 28 day stand down at Ipswich and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

3 Oh So Sassy – Collided with and marred by another runner entering the first turn, took no further part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have a nearside wrist injury the greyhound has been stood down for 90 days must complete a satisfactory Stewards trial prior to racing again. The incident will be referred to the injury review panel.

4 Night Shift – Slow to begin, bumped entering the first turn.

5 Hurricane Ashy – Checked off heels entering the first turn.

6 Fast And Fabio – Checked approaching the winning post.
