Race 1 - TAB VENUE MODE MAIDEN HEAT 1 MAIDEN 431m

1 Coruscate- Checked in first turn.

3 Ebony Bar Cool- Checked in first turn. Checked in turn out of the back straight.

7 Dahomey Alexi- Severely checked in first turn causing the greyhound to fall and take no further competitive part in the event. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to the near hind leg and was stood down from racing for 90 days. Stewards ordered that Dahomey Alexi must perform a satisfactory trial before returning to racing.

8 Whiskey Torque- Checked in first turn. Checked rounding the turn into the home straight.

9 Up Style Rico (6)- Checked in first turn. Checked rounding the turn into the home straight.

4 Toffee Coffee- Checked rounding the turn into the home straight and commenced to weaken. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to the nearside pin muscle and was stood down from racing for 21 days.  

5 Lulu Bar Cool- Checked in first turn.

6 Don't Look Ethel- Checked in first turn.

7 Akira- Checked in first turn.

8 Ambivalent- Checked in first turn.

Race 4 - DOVER & SONS MIXED 3/4 431m

1 Sirius Wilson- Checked entering the turn out of the back straight. Shifted out in the home straight colliding with another runner. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to the offside hind leg and was stood down from racing for 21 days. Stewards spoke to trainer D Johnstone regarding the greyhound’s actions in the home straight, after reviewing the video replay and the hearing the submissions from Mr Johnstone, stewards deemed Sirius Wilson had taken its attention away from the lure therefore invoked GAR 125(a) Failing to Pursue By Reason of Injury. Sirius Wilson must perform a satisfactory trial before returning to racing.

1 Waikiki Surfer- Checked entering the first turn. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which did not reveal any significant findings.

7 Turbo Blaster- Checked entering first turn. Checked in turn out of the back straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to the near hind foot and was stood down from racing for 7 days.   

8 Whispering Ella- Checked entering first turn.

Race 8 - JUST GREYHOUND PHOTOS 5TH GRADE HEAT 4 GRADE 5 520m

1 Honey Bar Cool- Checked entering the first turn.

3 Hot Tyson- Checked in back straight. Checked entering the turn out of the back straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which did not reveal any significant findings.

5 This Time Sara- Checked entering the turn out of the back straight.

6 Comical Warren- Checked entering the first turn.

7 Booming Boo Boo- Checked entering the turn out of the back straight.

8 Galloping Black- Checked entering the first turn. Contacted runner to its inside in the home straight. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr D Johnstone regarding the greyhound’s racing manners at that stage of the event, after hearing the steward’s observation, reviewing the video replay and the trainers’ submissions, stewards deemed that Galloping Black did make head contact with the greyhound to its inside therefore invoked GAR 123 Marring. As this was the greyhound’s 2nd offence under this rule Galloping Black was suspended from racing at all tracks for 28 days and until the completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.
