After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 125 Fail to purse by reason of injury – 7 days stand down and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next. |

1 Tuta Storm – Beaten favourite. Checked in the back straight, checked entering the back turn, checked on the back turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.
4 Sirmione – Turned its head outwards towards another runner in the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the off fore limb and was stood down from racing for 7 days. Steward’s spoke to trainer Josh Priest regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 125 Fail to purse by reason of injury – 7 days stand down and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.
8 Frank’s News – Turned its head inwards towards another runner approaching the finish line. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Steward’s spoke to trainer Marie Westwood regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 124 Fail to purse (2nd offence) – 28 days stand down at all tracks and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

Stewards spoke to trainer Kevin Forrester regarding the greyhounds racing manners entering the back turn. After considering all available evidence, the greyhound was given the benefit of the doubt if it had contravened any rule. |
