4 I’m Old School – Underwent a post-race veterinary examination after making contact with the catching pen gate, which revealed no significant findings.
7 Bye Bye
Swiper – Beaten favourite, slow to begin, checked entering the first
turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed
no significant findings. Stewards spoke to trainer Casey Dargusch regarding
the greyhound performance. Mrs Dargusch stated that the greyhound has been
trialling well but is still young and inexperienced in a field and after
beginning slow and receiving early interference she was not disappointed with
the greyhound’s performance. Stewards noted the submissions. |

5 Pocket Say Itch – Severely checked on the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a spike wound to the near side hind foot, under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 3 days.
8 Ripsaw Ruby – Severely checked on the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a spike wound to the offside front foot, under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 3 days.

3 Our Opals – Beaten favourite, checked entering the first turn, tightened entering the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Stewards spoke to trainer Gregory Stella regarding the greyhound performance. Mr Stella stated the greyhound is better suited to racing further forward and after being caught wide early he wasn’t disappointed with the greyhound’s performance. Stewards noted his submissions.
5 Lord Yuri – Checked on the first turn. Checked and made contact with the rail shortly after passing the winning post. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.
