Zipping Wesley – Stewards spoke to trainer Mr Christopher Jordan regarding the greyhound’s performance, after reviewing the video replay and the hearing the submissions from Mr Jordan, stewards invoked GAR 129 Unsatisfactory performance. Zipping Wesley must complete a satisfactory trail before being eligible to be nominated for or compete in any event. |

Sirius Forrest - Turned its head inwards in the back straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed a nearside hip injury. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr Darren Johnstone regarding the greyhound’s actions in the back straight, after reviewing the video replay and the hearing the submissions from Mr Johnstone, stewards deemed Sirius Forrest had failed to pursue the lure and therefore invoked GAR 124 Failing to Pursue. As this was the greyhound’s 3rd offence under this rule Sirius Forrest was suspended from racing at all tracks for 3 months and until the successful completion of 2 satisfactory steward’s trials |

Too Tough Terry - Turned its head outwards in the home straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed a mouth injury and was stood down from racing for 3 days. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr Kev Murnane regarding the greyhound’s actions in the home straight, after reviewing the video replay and the hearing the submissions from Mr Murnane, stewards deemed Too Tough Terry had failed to pursue the lure and therefore invoked GAR 125 Failing to Pursue with injury. As this was the greyhound’s 1st offence under this rule Too Tough Terry was suspended from racing at Ipswich for 3 days and until the successful completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial |
