Race 4 - CORPORATE SPRINT HEAT 1 GRADE 5 431m

3 Regal Scotch- Beaten favourite. Checked in first turn. Forced to race wide in the back straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which did not reveal any abnormalities. Stewards noted that the greyhound was stepping up in distance and tired late after being forced to race wide for a large portion of the event to be eventually beaten half a length.

3 Sandave Style- Checked in first turn and commenced to weaken. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which did not reveal any abnormalities. Stewards spoke to licensed trainer Mr Terry Duncan who advised that he was disappointed with the greyhound’s performance and that the greyhound didn’t travel well. Mr Duncan intends on given the greyhound a spell. No further action taken.

Race 10 - GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS MA5 431m

1 Jury’s Out- Entering the home straight shifted out marring the runner to its outside. Stewards spoke to trainer Shane Topping regarding the greyhound’s racing manners at that stage of the event, after hearing the steward’s observation, reviewing the video replay and the trainers’ submissions, stewards deemed that Jury’s Out did make head contact with the greyhound to its outside therefore invoked GAR 123 Marring. As this was the greyhound’s 2nd offence under this rule Jury’s Out was suspended from racing at All Tracks for 28 days and until the completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.
