Race 1 - TAB VENUE MODE MAIDEN HEAT 1 MAIDEN 2 520m

Need A Moment (4) - Approaching the winning post on the first occasion was checked. Through the first turn was severely checked. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed an offside pin muscle injury and was stood down from racing for 10 days.

Race 2 -SKY RACING MAIDEN HEAT 2 MAIDEN 2 520m

Often Right (4) – Leaving the boxes was checked. Shortly after the start eased and turned its head outwards. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings. Steward’s spoke to trainer representative Mr Justin Bowe regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 124 Failing to purse (first offence) – 28 days stand down at Ipswich and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

Prince Of Bob (6) – Entering the back straight turned its head inwards towards the inside runner. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings. Steward’s spoke to trainer representative Mr. Alan Dargusch regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 124 Failing to purse (first offence) – 28 days stand down at Ipswich and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.
