5 Class Of Twenty - Late scratching at 11.40am pursuant to GAR 92(2) when the greyhound was found to be seasonal during kennelling, the greyhound has been stood down for 28 days.

A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have a near side front toe injury, under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down from racing for 28 days and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

2 Isa Bella – Preformed below market expectations. Checked in the back straight, checked entering the home turn. Trainer Neil Catchpole stated that the greyhound didn’t begin as well as it had been today and prefers a wider box where it can race in less constricted room.
3 Wildash Kev - Late scratching at 9.40am pursuant to GAR 76(2) due to an offside hip support injury the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days. Stewards will require a Veterinary certificate before any future nominations will be accepted.
4 Master Mars – Gave ground in the back straight and trailed the field for the remainder of the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a near side hip injury under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days. Trainer Phillip Shaxson advised the greyhound will now be retired. |
