Race 1 - TAB VENUE MODE MA5 (1) 288m

 

6 It’s Cleo – Severely checked and fell on the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have split webbing under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 14 days.

 

 

Race 2 - SKY RACING MA5 (2) 288m

 

2 Unique Maurice – Severely checked on the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

 

7 Hide The Cash – Severely checked and fell on the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have a near side back muscle injury under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 14 days.

4 Tuta Delta – Severely checked on the home turn, gave ground in the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a near side foreleg injury, under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.

 

5 Class Of Twenty - Late scratching at 11.40am pursuant to GAR 92(2) when the greyhound was found to be seasonal during kennelling, the greyhound has been stood down for 28 days.

 

 

Race 4 - DOVER & SONS 5TH GRADE HEAT 2 GRADE 5 288m

 

1 Another Turtle – Beaten favourite, severely checked on the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

 

 

Race 5 - GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS 5TH GRADE HEAT 3 GRADE 5 288m

 

1 It’s Time Molly – Gave ground soon after the start and took no competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have acidosis under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 21 days.

 

 

Race 6 - SWAGMAN'S PIES NAMBOUR GRADE 4 288m

Race 7 - IPSWICH LOCAL NEWS MIXED 3/4 288m

 

3 Bundy Traveller – Preformed below market expectations. Checked soon after the start, checked entering the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

 

8 Velocity Kensie – Checked and became unbalanced on the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have a near side front toe injury, under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down from racing for 28 days and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

 

 

Race 8 - M & K BUTCHERS BEST 8 288m

 

2 Emerald Dragon – Shifted out and bumped with another runner entering the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a near side wrist injury under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days.

 

 

Race 9 - TREMBATH TYRES 5TH GRADE HEAT 4 GRADE 5 288m

 

2 Isa Bella – Preformed below market expectations. Checked in the back straight, checked entering the home turn. Trainer Neil Catchpole stated that the greyhound didn’t begin as well as it had been today and prefers a wider box where it can race in less constricted room.

 

3 Wildash Kev - Late scratching at 9.40am pursuant to GAR 76(2) due to an offside hip support injury the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days. Stewards will require a Veterinary certificate before any future nominations will be accepted.

 

4 Master Mars – Gave ground in the back straight and trailed the field for the remainder of the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a near side hip injury under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days. Trainer Phillip Shaxson advised the greyhound will now be retired.

 

 

Race 10 - ROWAN ANDERSON JOURNALIST 5TH GRADE HEAT 5 GRADE 5 288m

6 All Vogue – Checked entering the home turn, gave ground in the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed offside achilles tendon injury, under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down from racing for 60 days and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.
