General: Stewards spoke to trainer Marie Westwood in relation to the boxing of her greyhound Empire Rolls On in race 9. After hearing submissions from Ms Westwood stewards placed conditions on Ms Westwood in relation to boxing her greyhounds for future events. |

Georgie Choo (2) – Stewards spoke to trainer Allan Oshyer regarding the greyhound being heavily supported in the market. Mr Oshyer stated the greyhound had a month off and although the greyhound trialled well thought the greyhound was a run short of its best. Mr Oshyer stated he didn’t financially support the greyhound. Stewards noted the explanation. |

Cool Rumours (6) – Was dragged down approaching the catching pen. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings. |

|

Spring Release (1) – Entering the back turn lost ground appearing injured. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed an offside hip injury and was stood down from racing for 10 days.
Running Express (2) - Late scratching at 12:30pm pursuant to GAR 76(2) due to the trainer being ill, the greyhound has been given no stand down time. Stewards have received a medical certificate.
Whiskey On Ice (7) – Along the home straight was checked and turned sideways. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed a head injury and was stood down from racing for 60 days and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next. |
