5 Wandering Tiger Turned its head to the inside away from the lure passing the middle of the home straight.
Wandering Tiger underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the hip, a 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Trainer Darren Russell regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125(a), failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury), Wandering Tiger was found in breach and must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 127(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
