2. Velocity Yin – Entering the back straight momentarily eased. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainer R Enright regarding the greyhound’s actions at that stage of the event, after reviewing the video replay and the hearing the submissions from Mr Enright, stewards deemed Velocity Yin did ease losing ground, therefore invoked GAR 124 Failing to Pursue. As this was the greyhound’s 1st offence under this rule Velocity Yin was suspended from racing at Ipswich for 28 days and until the successful completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial. |

3. Asti’s Rescue – Into the 1st turn was severely checked falling as a result. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its offside foreleg and was stood down from racing for 90 days. |

|
|
|
The Stewards declared this event a “No Race” in accordance with GAR 110(1). Due to an incident into the 1st turn a greyhound ran in the opposite direction back towards the field. The lure was pulled up to prevent any further incidents. |

2. Lasting Love – Made heavy contact with the running rail on pulling up. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its offside shoulder and was stood down from racing for 7 days. |

5. Brawl – Into the 1st turn was checked falling as a result. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. |
