7 Sirius Dianna – Entering the first turn was severely checked. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed a near side hip support injury and was stood down from racing for 7 days.

Race 4 - DOVER & SONS MA5 2 520m

6 Suzie Knows – Approaching the back turn shifted out and turned its heads outwards towards the outside runner. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed an offside pin muscle injury and was stood down from racing for 7 days. Stewards spoke to Cameron Scott regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR125 Failing to pursue by reason of injury – 7 day stand down at all tracks and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

8 Ayrton – Entering the first turn was checked then faulted in its action and then took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed an off hind leg injury and was stood down from racing for 90 days and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next. This matter will be referred to the Greyhound Injury Review Panel.
