7 Midnight Gunn Turned its head away from the lure and made muzzle contact with the runner to its inside passing the middle of the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent injury.
Stewards spoke to Kerry Hoggan, the trainer of Midnight Gunn regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 marring, Midnight Gunn was found in breach and suspended for 28 days at Ipswich and must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 127, before any future nomination will be accepted.
