Race 1 - TAB VENUE MODE MAIDEN HEAT 1 MAIDEN 431m

8 Trapezoid Visibly eased, turned its head to the outside away from the lure and shifted out towards another runner. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent injury.

Stewards spoke to J Valentine, the trainer of Trapezoid regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124(1) failing to pursue the lure with due commitment Trapezoid was found in breach and suspended for 28 days at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 127(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Race 2 - SKY RACING MAIDEN HEAT 2 MAIDEN 431m

2 Zar’s Rescue Severely checked and fell entering the turn out of the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent injury.

4 Bow Street Severely checked and fell entering the turn out of the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent injury.

9 Depth Sounds Turned its head to the inside and made muzzle contact with a runner to the inside shortly after the start. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the off side hip, 7 days stand down from racing.

Stewards spoke to D Makowiecki, the trainer of Depth Sounds regarding the greyhound’s racing manners shortly after the start. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 marring Depth Sounds was found in breach and suspended for 28 days at Ipswich and must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 127, before any future nomination will be accepted.
