3 Palawa King – Made contact with the running rail entering the front straight. Checked entering the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. When questioned regarding the below expectation performance of the greyhound Mr Smith stated he was disappointed in the greyhound’s performance in tonight’s event despite it being the greyhounds first start at the track. Mr Smith also stated he had not supported the greyhound in tonight’s event. Stewards noted Mr Smith’s explanation. |
