Red Yogi – Made contact with the running rail approaching the top turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

3 Palawa King – Made contact with the running rail entering the front straight. Checked entering the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. When questioned regarding the below expectation performance of the greyhound Mr Smith stated he was disappointed in the greyhound’s performance in tonight’s event despite it being the greyhounds first start at the track. Mr Smith also stated he had not supported the greyhound in tonight’s event. Stewards noted Mr Smith’s explanation.

 

Race 7 - IPSWICH CUP PRELUDE FINAL OPEN 2 520m

 

6 Royal Nangar – Checked and fell entering the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to the near fore toe and was subsequently stood down for 10 days.

1 Scarlatti – Severely checked rounding the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

 

Race 11 - GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS GRADE 5 (1) 2 520m

 

3 Boom Boom Harley – A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to near fore leg and was subsequently stood down for 7 days.
