Race 1 - DES BRAMICH MEMORIAL MAIDEN FINAL MAIDEN 2 520m

2. Freedom Is – Approaching the first turn checked around heels and then shortly after was checked and dragged down. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings.

Race 2 - ORCHESTRATE AT STUD GRADE 5 3 630m

1. Out Of Scope – Beaten favourite. Tired over the concluding stages. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings. Stewards spoke to trainer Jeff Crawford regarding the greyhound’s performance. Trainer Mr Crawford stated it was the greyhounds first race over the distance and wasn’t disappointed with the performance and the greyhound will benefit from the run. Stewards noted the explanation.

2. Lucky Bundy – Entering the home straight on the final occasion checked around heels. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings.

Race 3 - DOVER & SONS MIXED 4/5 2 520m

6. Sirius Zoe – A post-race veterinarian examination revealed near side hock soreness and was stood down from racing for 14 days.

Race 4 - TAB IPSWICH SPRINT HEAT 1 OPEN 2 431m

1. Make Noise – Entering the back turn contacted the running rail then shifted out and became unbalanced momentarily. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings.

2. King Of Cool – Beaten favourite. Exiting the first turn was tightened and checked.

Race 6 - TAB IPSWICH SPRINT HEAT 3 OPEN 2 431m

Race 7 - TAB IPSWICH SPRINT HEAT 4 OPEN 2 431m

1. Isurava – Beaten favourite. Through the first turn was checked. Entering the back turn was tightened.

Race 8 - TAB IPSWICH SPRINT HEAT 5 OPEN 2 431m

4. Our Opals – Beaten favourite. Entering the first turn was checked on multiple occasions. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings.

Race 9 - TAB IPSWICH SPRINT HEAT 6 OPEN 2 431m

5. Mexican Bandit – Exiting the first turn was checked and then lost ground appearing injured. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed near side wrist injury and was stood down from racing for 14 days.

8. King Cole – Through the first turn was checked and then fell. Entering the home straight shifted out and hampered another runner. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings. Steward’s spoke to trainer Lance Mcpaul regarding the greyhound’s performance. After considering all available evidence, Stewards deemed the performance to be unsatisfactory therefore invoked GAR129. Unsatisfactory performance the greyhound must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

3. Boxing On - Late scratching at 4:27pm due to the greyhound not being presented to Stewards within the required kennelling time. In accordance with GAR86(3)(b) Boxing On is prohibited from competing in any Event for a period of 28 days. Licensed trainer Mr Lawrence Topping entered a plea of guilty and was fined the sum of $200.00 in respect of a charge issued pursuant to GAR76(7) as a result of the greyhound Boxing On being scratched for a reason which in the opinion of Stewards was unacceptable.
