2 Johnny Baha - Late scratching at 1.20pm due to a weight variation pursuant to GAR 101(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days. Trainer Kim Shedden was fine $100.00 pursuant to GAR 101(3)(b).
6 Bow Street – Eased and turn its head inwards towards another runner in the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Steward’s spoke to trainer Shane Topping regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 124 Fail to purse, as it is the greyhound’s 3rd offence the greyhound has been stood down for 3 months at all tracks and must complete two satisfactory steward’s trials prior to racing next.

5 Revived – Shifted out making contact with another runner in the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Steward’s spoke to trainer Kerry Hoggan regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 123 Marring 1st offence – 28 days stand down at Ipswich and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.
Teddy Foodle – Severely checked and fell on the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside hind leg injury, under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down from racing for 90 days and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

A post-race veterinary examination revealed a near side back muscle injury, under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down from racing for 28 days and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next. Trainers representative advised the greyhound will now be retired.
