Tommy Trumpet – Checked in the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. A follow-up post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. 

Taffer – Checked off heel in the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. 

Race 2 - SKY RACING MAIDEN HEAT 2 MAIDEN 288m

No Good Sam – Gave ground through the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an off hind back muscle injury, under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down from racing for 21 days.

One Stone Boy – Checked in the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed superficial toe injury with no standdown time given.

Race 4 - DOVER & SONS MAIDEN HEAT 4 MAIDEN 288m

Underwood - A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainers representative F Guymer regarding the greyhound’s racing manners, after hearing the steward’s observation, reviewing the video replay and the trainers’ submissions, stewards deemed that Underwood had taken its attention away from the lure therefore invoked GAR 124 Failing to Pursue. Underwood was suspended from racing at Ipswich for 28 days and until the completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.
