3. Dahomey Africa – Exiting the first turn was checked. Through the back turn was severely checked. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed a nearside pin muscle injury and was stood down from racing for 7 days.

7. No Pennies - Through the first turn was checked. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings.

Race 2 - SKY RACING MAIDEN (2) 431m

2. Shian Leo – Beaten favourite. Shortly after the start was checked. Through the first turn checked around heels. Entering the back straight was checked. Entering the back turn was checked. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings.

Race 4 - DOVER & SONS NOVICE (1) 431m

1. City Steamer - Late scratching at 1:28pm due to the greyhound not being presented to Stewards within the required kennelling time. In accordance with GAR86(3)(b) City Steamer is prohibited from competing in any Event for a period of 10 days. Licensed trainer Mr Alby Kennewell entered a plea of guilty and was fined the sum of $200.00 in respect of a charge issued pursuant to GAR76(7) as a result of the greyhound City Steamer being scratched for a reason which in the opinion of Stewards was unacceptable.

8. Lochos – Beaten favourite. Entering the first turn was checked. Through the first turn was checked and then stumbled. Entering the back turn was checked. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed

Race 6 - ORCHESTRATE AT STUD MA5 431m

8. Brandy Balloon - Late scratching at 1:28pm due to the greyhound not being presented to Stewards within the required kennelling time.
