2 Sirius Margo – Turned it’s head outwards and shifted towards another runner soon after the start. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside foreleg and has been stood down from racing for 10 days. Stewards spoke to trainer Darren Johnstone regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 125 Fail to Pursue by reason of injury – 10 days stand down at Ipswich and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

1 Ultra Hannah – Turned it’s head outwards towards another runner in the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Steward’s spoke to trainer Errol Kleinhans regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 123 Marring (1st offence) – 28 days stand down at Ipswich and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

6 Little Melissa – A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside foreleg and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days from racing. |

A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside hindleg and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down from racing for 60 days and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.
