8 Petey Tax – Turned it’s head outwards and made muzzle contact with another runner through the back turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Steward’s spoke to trainer representative Bailey Dargusch regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 123 Marring (1st offence) – 28 days stand down at Ipswich and must complete a satisfactory stewards trial prior to racing next.

2 Lyrical Gangster – Turned it’s head outwards towards another runner in the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Stewards spoke to trainer representative Chloe Muller regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 124 Fail to purse (1st offence) – 28 days stand down at Ipswich and must complete a satisfactory stewards trial prior to racing next.
4 Flaming Hope – Beaten Favourite. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside shoulder and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.
6 Tommy Air – Checked in the first turn and commenced to give ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside hip and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.
