Race 1 – IPSWICH INFLATABLE WORLD MAIDEN 2 520m

4. Honey Whiskey – Approaching the first turn improved onto heels then checked and then shortly after was dragged down and checked. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed a nearside calf injury and was stood down from racing for 28 days and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

7. Screaming Siren – Shortly after the start was checked. Entering the first turn improved onto heels and checked and then stumbled. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings.

Race 2 – EM JAY PRODUCTS MAIDEN FINAL MAIDEN 2 520m

2. I’M Refined – A post-race veterinarian examination revealed near hind leg bruising and was stood down from racing for 3 days.

6. Hara’s Poh – Entering the first turn became unbalanced momentarily. Through the back turn gave ground and took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings. A secondary veterinarian examination revealed an off hindleg injury and was stood down from racing for 14 days.

Race 3 – COLDROOM CONNECTION NOVICE 2 520m

2. Sweet Mail – Through the back turn turned its head outwards towards the outside runner. Exiting the back turn turned its head outwards towards the outside runner. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings. Steward’s spoke to trainer Matthew Heilbronn regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR124 Failing to pursue – 28 days stand down at Ipswich and must complete a satisfactory Steward’s trial prior to racing next.

6. Small Town – Steward’s spoke to Trainer Tim Britton regarding the racing manners of his greyhound along the home straight on the final occasion. After hearing evidence from Mr Britton, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards took no further action.

Race 4 – NQ AUTO GROUP MA5 2 520m

5. Go Girl – Approaching the winning post on the final occasion momentarily eased. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed an offside pin muscle injury and was stood down from racing for 7 days. Steward’s spoke to trainer representative David Eisel regarding the greyhound’s manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR125 Failing to pursue by reason of injury – 7 days stand down at all tracks and must complete a satisfactory Steward’s trail prior to racing next.

Race 5 – A PLACE TO MEET GRADE 5 3 630m

No matters of concern to Stewards.

Race 6 – MORTAR FINANCE GRADE 5 2 520m

6. Abel Tasman – Along the home straight on the final occasion turned its head outwards towards the outside runner. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed an off-hind foot injury and was stood down from racing for 7 days. Steward’s spoke to trainer Douglas Gladman regarding the greyhound’s manners. After considering all available evidence, Steward’s invoked GAR125 Failing to pursue by reason of injury – 7 days stand down at all tracks and must complete a satisfactory Steward’s trial prior to racing next.
