Race 1 - TAB VENUE MODE MAIDEN (1) 431m |

2 Bremmer Belle - Bumped entering the home straight then eased and turned its head inwards towards another. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Steward’s spoke to trainer David Kitchener regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 124 Fail to purse 1st offence – 28 days stand down at Ipswich and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.
7 Daytime Vera – Checked soon after the start, severely checked and made contact with the rail on the first turn, checked entering the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.
8 Sirius Frank – Checked soon after the start, eased and turned its head inwards towards another runner approaching the winning post. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Steward’s spoke to trainer Darren Johnstone regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 124 Fail to purse 1st offence – 28 days stand down at Ipswich and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

5 Brazen Bar Cool – Underwent a veterinary examination prior to leaving the course which revealed the greyhound to have colic, under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 28 days and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

3 Stone Cold Rosy – Severely checked and fell entering the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside front leg injury, under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down from racing for 90 days and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

7 See It Rock – Checked entering the first turn, gave ground rounding the home turn and trailed the field for the remainder of the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside foreleg injury under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 21 days.
